This Hunan China map shows all the major cities, most of which are in the eastern half of the province, with the capital Changsha in the northeast. Changsha and nearby Zhuzhou together form the main transportation hub where most of the province's major roads, highways and railroads converge. Other important cities in Hunan include Yueyang, Xiangtang, Zhuzhou, Hengyang, and Chaling in the east, while Fenghuang, Furongzhen, Zhangjiajie, and Shaoyang lie to the west. Bordering Hunan province are Hubei to the north, Jiangxi to the east, Guangxi and Guangdong to the south, and Guizhou and Chongqing (municipality) to the west.
