Jiangsu is located on the east coast of China, and is surrounded by Shandong to the north, Anhui to the west, Zhejiang to the south, and the Yellow sea to the east. Jiangsu's capital Nanjing is near the southwest border where the Yangtze river enters the province. In the southeast lies Suzhou, famous for it's many canals. Shanghai is just a two hour drive across the border from here. Important railroads are shown on the Jiangsu China map cutting across the province in both the north and south. Major roads and highways follow similar routes, as well as bisecting Jiangsu from northwest to southeast.
